Buildings at the University of South Florida Polytechnic campus in Lakeland were evacuated this morning after a bomb threat was called in at nearby Polk State College.
Earlier this month, USF’s board of trustees approved a $35.6 million renovation to the Sun Dome at USF Tampa, the home of the school’s basketball teams, volleyball teams, and a wide array of other sporting and non-sporting events. Already, after less than a month of interior work, most fans would have a hard time recognizing the facility.
