Since 1986, the National MLK Drum Major for Justice Parade has drawn thousands to the streets of St. Petersburg. USFSP students and staff came out to join in the parade with beads and candy for the eager visitors. Many student clubs and organizations showed their support for the community including: Student Government, the Black Student Association, Bayboro Garden, Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, College of Education, Delta Sigma Pi, Premed Club, and Psi Chi Honor Society to name a few. The USF Fight Song was chanted throughout the parade, and many parade visitors joined in with a “go Bulls.”
