USF St. Petersburg’s latest campus addition was installed on the lawn outside the University Student Center on Feb. 7. The anatomically correct bull weighs in at 850 pounds and is made of bronze. Funding for the $10,000 bull came from Student Government’s capital account. Facilities staff lowered the bull with a forklift onto four concrete platforms on its new home facing Sixth Street South.
Students and faculty watch as the new, yet-to-be-named bronze bull is fitted for cement supports on Harborwalk on Feb. 6. It was permanently installed the next day.
