The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg reached its 2023 conclusion, following 10 races across three days of action. There was no shortage of excitement for spectators, from big upsets to massive crashes
The series represented were SRO GT America, Mazda MX-5 Cup, USF2000, USF Pro 2000, INDY NXT and the NTT INDYCAR series.
The temporary street circuit set up in downtown St. Petersburg had 14 turns across 1.8 miles and is one of the most challenging courses in the industry –– but that didn’t stop Marcus Ericsson of Sweden from taking home the top spot in the marquee NTT INDYCAR series race.
