The University of South Florida celebrates USF with week-long celebration USF week

On April 10 through April 15, the University of South Florida will celebrate USF Week. Across all three campuses, the week will be filled with activities, events and free school merchandise.  

USF St. Petersburg will kick-off USF week with Swag Tabling at Harborwalk. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., students will get a chance to secure USF merch and learn about the upcoming USF week events. Students will also be able to get merchandise and customize it using tie-dye during the tie-dye event that’ll occur from 3 to 5 p.m. on the Harbor Lawn.  

From 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, a Silent Disco will take place in the USC ballroom. Students will choose the music they listen and dance to through wireless headphones. Also, in the USC Ballrooms from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, students can attend the Groovy Movie Night, showing the 2011 remake of “Footloose.”  

Students can win cash prizes from 8 to 10 p.m. on Thursday with a Cash Attack game night. In the USC Ballrooms, the game will model the popular game show “Deal or No Deal” and participants have a chance to win up to $250.  

USF week will end with Rocky’s Rager, a celebration of Rocky the Bull’s birthday. From 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday at the Edge, students can enjoy a pool party.  

Also, at 6 p.m. at the USF Corbett Soccer Stadium, the free USF spring football game will conclude the week-long celebration.
