The Student Center and Events (SCE) at USF St. Petersburg is continuing its annual tradition of weeklong programming during finals season, to help students de-stress. In the spirit of relaxing and reminiscing, this year’s theme is Disney throwbacks from the early 2000s.
The events are intended to provide students with a brief break from studying and encourage them to focus on their mental health.
Tuesday, Dec. 3:
- USF Good Luck Bulls: Study rooms with the Student Success Center in the USC ballrooms from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m, inspired by the 2010 show, “Good Luck Charlie.”
- Food On The Go: From 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. inspired by a Disney promoted snack, Danimals.
Wednesday, Dec. 4:
- Sound Baths: With the Wellness Center and Sunny Stewart from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. in the USC ballrooms, students can relax and listen to calming noises from a variety of therapeutic instruments ranging from chimes to rainmakers, inspired by the 2008 Disney film, “Camp Rock.” Students can register on Bulls Connect here.
- Recharge and Rewind: Self-care event from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Reef, inspired by “Lilo & Stitch: The Series” released in 2003.
Thursday, Dec. 5:
- Pass The LNB: Late night breakfast from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. in the Reef, inspired by the 2008 educational Disney tv show “Pass the Plate.”
Throughout the week, students can compete to win prizes and are encouraged to participate in these events to end the semester on a high note.
