By earning three championships at the 2025 UCA/UDA College Cheerleading & Dance Team National Championship, the University of South Florida cheerleading program solidified its standing as one of the nation’s premier teams,
With these victories, USF has won an impressive nine national or world titles in just five years.
The USF All Girl Cheer team, led by head coach Sandy Clarke, achieved historic success by winning its first-ever Premier All Girl University World Cup Championship in their debut year competing at this level. The team also earned the USA Grand Championship, recognizing them as the highest-scoring American team across all divisions in the competition.
In addition to the world titles, the All Girl team placed second in the Division IA Game Day competition, maintaining its streak of finishing in the top two nationally for three consecutive years. In 2024, the team made history as the first-ever Division I program to win national championships in both the All Girl Game Day and All Girl Traditional categories in the same year.
The USF Coed Cheer Team also delivered an outstanding performance, winning its first national championship in the Division IA Game Day category. USF Coed Cheer has seen a remarkable rise since returning to national competition in 2016 after a 13-year gap, progressing from 12th place in 2017 to four national championships between 2021 and 2025.

- 2025: UCA All Girl World Cup, UCA USA Grand Champions (All Girl), UCA Division IA Coed Game Day
- 2024: UCA Division IA All Girl Game Day, UCA Division IA All Girl Traditional (first team ever to win both in the same year)
- 2023: UCA Division IA All Girl Game Day, UCA Division IA Large Coed
- 2022: UCA Division IA Large Coed
- 2021: UCA Division IA Large Coed
