After claiming victory over the Florida Panthers on Nov. 15, the Tampa Bay Lightning fell short against the Vancouver Canucks in a 6-2 defeat on Nov. 16 at the Benchmark International Arena.

The game also celebrated service members with Military Appreciation Night, spotlighting a variety of military personnel and conducting a swearing-in ceremony for new service members during the second intermission.

The Lightning showed up for a strong first period, with goals from stars Jake Guentzel and Nikita Kucherov.

Jake DeBrusk opened the scoring for the Canucks in the second period, followed by \5 unanswered goals, including an empty-netter from Marcus Petterson late in the third period.

Frustration boiled over for the Lightning in the third period, with a large fight breaking out in the last 30 seconds of the game.

The bolts have now dropped two of their last three games.
