Campus Events

Cut, Paste, & Cupid, Harborside Activities Board, USC Reef, Feb. 11, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. 

Join HAB for a cozy afternoon of crafting, making homemade Valentine’s Day cards. Supplies will be provided. 

Pit Stop: Valentine’s Day, Commuter & Off-Campus Housing, Parking Garage, Feb. 12, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. 

Commuters can enjoy some Valentine’s Day treat from Commuter and Off-Campus Housing. Pick up flowers, cards and sweet treats at this pit stop.  

Blind Date with a Book, Nelson Poynter Memorial Library, Feb. 12, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. 

Choose a wrapped book from hints on the cover and enjoy and new read. Craft supplies provided to decorate your book and make it your own.   

Noche de Amor, Latin American Student Association (LASA), SLC Patio, Feb. 12, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.  

Join LASA in celebrating a night of love. Attendees can enjoy food, drinks, crafts and Latin jazz.  

Celebrity Crush Presentation Night, PRIDE Alliance, SLE 1400, Feb. 13, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.  

PRIDE Alliance hosts its 2nd Celebrity Crush Presentation Night where attendees can either share their celebrity crushes or enjoy others’ presentations.  

Markets

13th Annual Localtopia, Williams Park, Feb. 14, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  

This annual market will host over 300 local businesses and community organizations. Attendees can enjoy food, drinks, music, and tons of local vendors.  

Uptown Funk Market, Feb. 14, 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. 

Every second Saturday, Uptown Funk brings together local artists and creatives for a night of community fun.  

Planet Retro Records St. Pete Punk Rock Flea Market, Feb. 14, 2 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  

Planet Retro Records hosts its annual Punk Rock Flea Market and will have local vendors, bands and food.  

St. Petersburg Arts Alliance Second Saturday Art Walk, Feb. 14, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.  

Every month, St. Petersburg Arts Alliance take locals and visitors around the city, free of charge, to enjoy all the art it has to offer. Attendees can enjoy a trolley ride around St. Petersburg, stopping at places like the Morean Center for Clay, FloridaRAMA, and the Duncan McClellan Gallery.  

New Moon Makers Market – Because I Love You, Allendale United Methodist Church, Feb. 22, 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. 

For anyone looking to celebrate love even after Valentine’s Day, New Moon Makers Market has local vendors, organizations and food for them. 

Music

Sleeping Pills Album Release, The Bends, Feb. 13, 9 p.m. 

Tampa-based post-punk/dream pop group, Sleeping Pills will celebrate its album release and will be joined by Ortrotasec and Carson Cox.  

Perfect Pitch Concert Buddy Matchup, The Factory, 2606 Fairfield Ave S., Feb. 14, 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.  

No Clubs, a St. Pete concert promotion and production company, hosts the perfect opportunity for live music lovers to find their next concert buddy at this free-to-attend mixer.  

Sweethearts Annual Soul Dance, Smallbar, 2662 Central Ave., Feb. 14 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.  

Join local artists Taína, They Hate Change and We’re Sweet Girls for a night of soul and lover’s rock vinyl spinning. Attendees can also enjoy printed wares from Sapphic Sun, a local queer news source.

Black Hearts Party, Super Memory Fragrances, 600 1st Ave N. Suite 103, Feb. 13, 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. 

St. Peterburg’s newest fragrance spot will host a night of breakup ballads, themed cocktails and a chance to explore their inventory.  

Gloves & Gals Kickboxing Class, MA Fitness Kickboxing, 4400 34th St. N., Feb. 14, 10 a.m.  

This beginner-friendly class encourages women to grab and friend and learn the basics of kickboxing. Tickets are $20 and are available on their site. 

WUSF Sunday Jazz, Suite E Studios, 615 27th St. S. Feb. 15, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.  

Enjoy an afternoon of vinyl spinning and coffee drinking in the Warehouse Arts District. Hosted by WUSF, this is a free-to-attend event. 

Valentine’s + Galentine’s Day Flower Arranging Workshop, Book + Bottle, 17 6th St. N., Feb. 15, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.  

Learn how to create your own flower arrangement in this Valentine’s Day themed workshop. Tickets are available here and include supplies and instructions.
