The university wasted no time this week in erasing search results on its website for the former regional chancellor.
In a written statement, Jessica Blais, USF St. Petersburg’s communication director, confirmed the deletion earlier this week, but did not say whether the order was given by USF system President Judy Genshaft.
“As part of our transition in leadership, it was necessary to update pages specific to the regional chancellor to reflect the selection of an interim leader. News stories in which Dr. Wisniewska was featured remain on the site,” Blais said.
Wisniewska was forced to resign Monday after her handling of evacuations of residence halls in the days before Hurricane Irma.
