Brace yourselves, music lovers.
Tampa is about to experience the inaugural Breakaway Music Festival on April 26 and 27 at the Raymond James Stadium.
This electrifying extravaganza promises a sonic experience like no other, featuring an all-star lineup of world-renowned artists.
Get ready to groove to the beats of EDM maestros like Zedd, Illenium and Kaskade, as well as ACRAZE, Sofi Tukker, Troyboi and many more. And let’s not forget homegrown talent — Tampa Bay natives MYR, Pushman and Taylorlace will be bringing their unique flavor to the mix.
“Florida has been a market we’ve always wanted to tap into, so we couldn’t be more excited to expand to Tampa as one of our newest 2024 festival locations,” Adam Lynn, Breakaway co-founder said. “Partnering with a national venue such as Raymond James Stadium will give us the local awareness and exposure we’ll need for success. In addition to global talent… we’re thrilled to be supporting the community by adding three talented Tampa natives to our opening acts as well as a full Silent Disco stage of local DJs. Our mission is to bring globally recognized experiences to underserved markets who don’t typically have these opportunities, and I think Tampa is the perfect place to recognize.”
But that’s not all. Breakaway is not just about the music; it’s an immersive experience with delights from a diverse array of food vendors, sip on refreshing beverages, and dive into brand activations from industry giants like Celsius, Shein and Bacardi.
And here’s the cherry on top: Breakaway is rolling out the red carpet for college students with discounted tickets. With a valid .edu email, students can snag single-day tickets for just $65 each day (compared to $126 for GA single-day tickets). Two-day general admission tickets start at $189.
In a city hungry for fresh beats and unforgettable experiences, Breakaway Music Festival will start a new era in Tampa’s entertainment landscape as one of the only music festivals of its kind, after the fan favorite Sunset Music Festival announced earlier this year that it will not be returning to Raymond James Stadium, or anywhere, in 2024 due to “rebranding.”
