Ahead of their matchup against UTSA tomorrow, USF' Ahead of their matchup against UTSA tomorrow, USF's football team is faced with the offensive challenges that came to light during their Oct. 3 loss against Temple. 

“As much as it stings to have a loss,” said head coach Brian Hartline, “I think everything happens for a reason.”

The Tampa Bay Lightning opened their 2026/27 seaso The Tampa Bay Lightning opened their 2026/27 season at the beginning of the month. 

After losing their first game against the New York Rangers 5-1 on Oct. 1 in New York, the Bolts’ first games in Tampa were more successful as they bested both the 
Washington Capitals 3-1, and the Philadelphia Flyers 4-1.

The Tampa Bay Lightning return to the ice at Benchmark International against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday, Oct 8.

The South Florida Bulls achieved their first 3-0 s The South Florida Bulls achieved their first 3-0 season start since 2018 with a 59-17 win against Delaware State on Sept. 19. 

The first touchdown of the game came in the early minutes of the game, with a 10-yard run from D.J. Crowther. 

Crowther, who ended the game with 100 rushing yards, was responsible for three of USF’s seven rushing touchdowns. 

The Bulls ended the first half of the game with a 28-17 lead thanks to a last-minute single yard run from Luke Kromenhoeck. 

The Bulls defense showed another impressive performance, not having turned the ball over once this season so far. 

The game closed a 20-yard kick from Nico Gramatica, who ended the game with a total of 11 points. 

USF is set to return to the field against Bowling Green on Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. The game will be available for broadcast on ESPN+.

The Bulls took their second win of the season agai The Bulls took their second win of the season against Army in West Point, New York with a 28-24 win.

Quarterback Michael Van Buren accounted for all four of USF's touchdowns, and his 38-yard
pass touchdown pass to wide receiver Joshua Porter with 19 seconds left in the game clock sealed the game winning score for the Bulls.

Every year, the United States commemorates the 2,9 Every year, the United States commemorates the 2,977 lives that were lost in 9/11. 

The Crow's Nest had the opportunity to speak with veteran and military-connected students to get their perspective on the impact 9/11 had on themselves and those around them.

USF opened its 30th season with a 19-9 win over FI USF opened its 30th season with a 19-9 win over FIU. 

Although USF's offense struggled to push (with USF scoring a single touchdown during the game) kicker Nico Gramatica pulled off a 13-point performance that pushed USF into victory. 

The game was also the first under new head-coach Brian Hartline, giving him a win during his debut with the Bulls.
