As college students, everyone wants to save money, so here are four places within a five-minute drive of The University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus. You can save money while eating great food, and all you need is your student ID.
BENTO
BENTO is a restaurant that includes many Asian eats from Japan, China, Taiwan and Korea. There are over 20 locations across Florida including 320 third St. South St. Petersburg, which is only a five-minute drive from campus. They offer a 15% discount for students.
Nicko’s Pizza
Nicko’s Pizza and Subs is a locally owned restaurant located only two minutes away from campus that serves pizza and specialty subs. They offer a 25% student discount Monday through Thursday(that cannot be combined with other offers). Nicko’s is located at 1238 fourth St. S. St. Petersburg.
The Hangar
The Hangar is a restaurant located across the street from campus on the second floor of the Albert Whitted Airport, 540 first St S, St. Petersburg. They are offering 10% off for students and while you eat you can watch the planes take off and land.
Pacific Counter
Pacific Counter is a counter service cafe that serves poke bowls, hot dogs, bubble tea, and kombucha. One of the two locations is located only four minutes away from campus at 660 Central Ave. St Petersburg, and they offer a 10% student discount
